I was 14yrs was on the WE 2 jetty with my dad and he told me we'll walk out 10ft. Points back said dont step on that rock it's slick. I leaned forward touched it felt nothing, step on it and gashed my knee real good. Lets say lesson learned.
LIRI, my old man just took a spill like that in April. He's was hurting bad. I could only image how much that hurt you.

fishing under the house at caswells, had a wave hit me while standing on a rock. it turned me, right foot slipped and left stayed planted. i went down with leg still planted on the rock and felt ligaments tear as i went down. to this day still can't dunk a basketball.(actually, never could)
A few years back fishing the Breezy Point jetty during a storm I was blown off the the jetty by a wave. Wearing a wetsuit I was able to get back to the jetty and as I continued to fish I started to feel some leg pain. When I looked down at my leg I had a good amount of blood pouring out. Chipped the bone with a nice deep gash. Took a few staples to close this one up and put a damper on the rest of my Fall season.
As the tide came in I took a nice fall climbing over one of the rocks covered with water. Nice scrape on my shin but more importantly the D&G shades I was wearing sank in front of me in slow motion...
Funny part is I got them back after a friend of a friend recovered them somehow after the tide went out and he saw him with them on, lol
