You can fish on both sides of the bridge, either queens side on the jetty or Bronx side at Maritime College. Both spots produce nice size fish at the right tide.

"ACCESS", For Throgs Neck Bridge

Your Best Bet for "ACCESS" on the Queens side, would be to get off the Cross Island Pkwy's last exit before the bridge: #32 Bell Blvd. At the traffic light make a right on Totten Avenue, then pull into the lot on your left side. This will give you "Access" to The Jetty, directly in front of the lot, and walking left towards the bridge you have lots of rocky shoreline towards the bridge you can work. "Good Luck" & Tight Lines.......

You may wanna park your vehicle on the residential side of bell bvld as the parking lot at fort totten closes at 9pm nightly. The jetty is too full with people during the day. Work along the shoreline up to under the bridge. I mostly been around there since the early 90s lotsa blues and big ones from back then. Tight lines...

Ft Totten is a good place to start. Watch the rats on the jetty.

I fished there once, I`ll never go back. A surfcasting for dummies book would do wonders there. Funky PM me for some other info.
