Not trying to steal anyone's thunder so let me give credit where credit is due ....

This video was posted on Zeno's blog earlier and created by Animal New York with the help of Surfcaster’s Journal.

All I can say is "WOW" .... !

“For fishermen, the only virtues are patience, tolerance and humility.”

I saw this video when it was posted a few weeks ago.

Yesterday I was over a friend's house, who's 20 something year old daughter I've know her whole life. She introduced me to her boyfriend, who had mentioned in the past he was looking for a job with a fishing program for kids.

I asked if he was a fisherman and he replied. . .

"It's a sickness. I'm obsessed."

After talking a while, it turned out this was Dennis, the guy from Animal New York that Bill Wetzel took out fishing last December to make this movie.

I've had the opportunity to meet many of the guys in that clip, though I doubt they'd know who I was. But I've fished with Bill, and could not think of a better guy for Dennis to have hooked up with for this video. Not just a great fisherman, but a fantastic teacher, and just a great person in general.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm reading Zeno's The Art of Surfcasting with Lures and Skinner's Season On The Edge right now. Great stuff.
