Here is a pic of my little buddy Nick Jr. At 11 years old he is a look into the bright future of fishing sharpies. He is an avid saltwater and freshwater fisherman that never met a fish he did not like...

One to watch!

Keep the pics coming guys!

Here's a pair of future sharpies. In fact, the kid on the right, Joe, is already one heck of a fisherman!

Keep those AWESOME photos rolling in!

Did everyone check out the photos already posted? I think they are all GREAT - like Savvy18's little buddy Nick Jr with an AWESOME striper + Scott1280's photo of his young friend Joe (nice Striper little Joe!) + striperman55's great photo of a nice pair of stripers he and his dad are holding up + another great shot where he's battling a striper in the surf in Montauk + tonyzifshin's daugther too + Jfinny's 3 photos (who's that young guy holding up that big fat striper?).

WAY TO GO !!!!

This is Pat Jr. a HARDCORE fisherman. Not even a "future" sharpie, he is a current sharpie and he is only 10! Does it all from snappers to big bass.

He is the complete package!

Here I am with my son, Julian, with a 22-inch largemouth he caught at DisneyWorld in Orlando in 2007. Julian is now 7 years old.

Future Sharpies

The key is to groom them young.
1. BE the fish
2. Know your bait
3. Get your sea legs
4-5. Get the fear out early, touch, smell.

Night bite delight, keepin' the line tight!

Future Sharpy

1. Get them casting on those hot fresh water bites.
2. Support your local fleet and get them on a PB.
3. When they start giving fish some sugar, you got a problem.
4. Bigger kid, bigger bait.
5. Teach them how to wave the wand.
