Jones and RM not open, nor any of the bay areas associated with them. RM Causeway and Meadowbrook PKWY both closed to the general public. Smith Point is open as is Shinny west. I believe Shinny east might be also, but that can be answered by a call to the Suffolk County Parks Dept. Don't have the number, but it can be googled easy enough.

Shinny east & west

Dune Road is open east of the Ponquogue Bridge all he way to the inlet, but closed west of the bridge. Shinny east is also open as is all of Meadow Lane........BUT THE FISHING ON THE BEACH IS DEAD, DEAD, DEAD.

I've been fishing almost every day and checking in at "East End bait & tackle". As far as I know and have heard, no one is catching anything but a rat bass every now and then.

Took the walk to the breach that over washed WE2 jetty. Very interesting. One rat picked. Fish still packed on the bar. When the herring show at the new beach, which I will here by officially name NCWHBB ..or " Naked Chick With Hot Buns Beach" its got potential. Hey ,that pic of that east jetty looks almost like the WE2 jetty chunk. Mother Nature must have the curse on.
