With sadness I report that my friend and fellow rod builder passed away last evening.

I met Brad when I attending my first Rod Crafter Seminar many years ago. His friendly help was a hugh assist to me way back when. A first class rod designer/builder. Many of you will remember him from the rod building class we ran at the Oak Beach Marine Education Center many years ago.

Besides being a great person he was also a very good fisherman and liked to catch fluke and stripers.
Rest in peace Brad.

Sad news indeed. First Bernie, now Brad.

I was thinking about Brad and Bernie while I was tying teasers tonight. I could always count on them to walk thru the door of the Freeport Show together - Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. Kept an extra chair at my booth for Brad's coat.

RIP my friend. You will be dearly missed.
