Andrus, strong hooks. Hooks are also the right "length". Those bucktails with the big long giant hooks aren't the best for hooking up. Andrus hooks are what I consider optimum length.

2 1/2 or 3 oz. jetty casters with 8/0 hooks.

Andrus Big Eye are my favorite

I like theAndrus Big Eye bucktail the best!
Henry's bucktails produces a better quality bullet head, but the wait time is long.
Off the self i pick Andrus jeddy caster or Blue Frog.

up andrus jetty caster i use in the surf when its not a sandy bottom.no lipps on bucktail soo it doesn't get hooked on bottom as easy.

Like my own the best. But I like Andrus' hooks better.

Andrus Jetty casters or rip splitters. Great hooks and lots of hair.
