Bait and wait What was you largest Striper caught with bait this season?

As the title says what was your largest Striper caught this season with Bunker chunks, Clam, Peanuts, Spot, Herring or squid?

i know this wasn't a listed option, but my biggest fish this year was 38 lbs. with a live eel

Western sound, 23 lbs on a bunker head, beginning of June.

I caught a king fish on a clam. Went about 9" or so Toungue

33 lbs. on a bunker chunk , The day before Sandy, on the SS.

Only three people caught stripers on noreast using bait ?This cant be true.

Biggest fish on bait? Hmmmmm.... Real fat 26-27"er livelining peanuts.
Don't really bait fish much... Catch better fish on lures...

Hooksalot was referring to last season what was your biggest bass LAST season with the baits listed WinkNice fish caught on eels guys even though eels wasnt on the list of baits .So far last season on noreast the biggest bass caught with the baits listed is 33 lbs.Dont be shy guys if your largest was smaller than that my largest last season was 36 inches about 20 lbs on bunker chunk.

Gotcha! 25 lbs. from the beach on a bunker chunk last November!

eels should be on the list, don't know why you left them off. live eels make for a much more mobile night of fishing with bait. i don't wait long Smile
