Looking to upgrade from my old style laced on Korkers to the newer Korker Rock Trax model. Heard some good and bad things about the newer model specifically the screw in studs come loose and fall out, also when rusted they are very dificult to replace. Also wondering if they stay on your boots without being duct taped and how durable are those plastic buckles? Any input would be helpful.

In my opinion the original Korkers are the better of the two. The studs can be pressed in, no worry about rust. I also believe they're less expensive. P.S. I don't use duct tape I prefer black electrical tape, guess I'm truley old school.

They made a similar buckle up version with the pressed in studs too.

I have the rock trax plus, push in studs and buckles used a few times so far with no complaints, we will see over time. I use tape as a just in case and to make em a little tighter.
