I've been kicking this around for a while. I see that Kil does this for the jigging/popping bluewater crowd, but how's about something for us, the regular weekend-type inshore guys?

So go ahead - got an old but still decent ABU baitcaster gathering dust in your garage? Post it up. How about a spool of braid that you no longer need? Put it here. Got a BPS Muskie Rod (Now who is THAT little monster named after?), place it here and I bet it goes right away.

For example, I know one "west end" guy that goes thru tackle like you change shirts. Not mentioning any names, but I bet HE knows who I mean and this will give him the chance to move some of his older goodies (that would mean like a season old, in his case!), and allow him to move up in class. But I hope he does remember that I get first dibs on that nice Shikari he's got stashed!

Remember though, I don't want to step on Kil's toes with this. If you have gear that would be more appropriate for his board, please put it there. But if its just "regular guy" bay and near-shore goodies, it can of course be put here. Also remember that one man's unloved reel is another man's treasure, so please don't be shy, why not just give it a try! Ya neva' know!

Anyway, just try to be realistic about your asking prices or trade requests and I dont see how you can miss.

Good luck and let the games begin!

Lep

Excellent idea Pete.

I have 3 items I'll put on here.

1- Penn 535GS in excellent shape reel is 3 years old and used maybe 3 times. Spooled with 50 lb Power Pro. Asking $100.

2-Abu 6500 also in excellent shape 3 years old used maybe 5 times and cleaned at the end of each year. Power handle and spooled with 20lb Big Game. $65.

3- 7' Pac Bay custom rod. Sorry I forgot the model # but I used it for jigging fluke 2-4 oz. and bass. Rod is in excellent shape has a trigger handle, foam grips with red under wrap, black over wrap and silver trim. I have the 6500 abu set up on this rod it's a very nice combo. $80. If you take the combo $130.

Thanks for looking and please PM me with any questions. Joe

qlty - nice work - only marginally fishing related, but well worth a place here. Good pricing too.
