Starting today, Burma Road is open to the Inlet. You have to ride the outer beach until cut 2A. There you will see a small sign that says "path". That is the entrance to Burma Road. The road is pretty much the same as last year. There is the blind "S" turn that drops you into the sink hole swamp, if you do not catch the swing around in time. There are also a few more blind "S" turns added. I guess to slow down the traffic. I hope it works. Good luck to all who obey the speed limits, whatever to those who dont.

Wow, that's good news. Didn't think I'd see this again.

thanks for the heads up on the blind S curves
Took a ride out there last weekend at night and WOW - was my first time on the road and almost didn't make it past that one turn where there looks to be a bog or something right there

Stick to the speed limit for SURE

Your welcome spiegs. It has been open for only 10 days and already you have all the wavy bumps in the road. If these children want to really show off their trucks, let them go to a REAL 4X4 track in New Jersey or Pennsylvania and see how much guts they have climbing rocks. These kids don't even have enough sense to air down. I wonder how it makes them feel so strong to go 4X4 ing on a TRAIL marked "only fishermen beyond this point".

Eisley

Don't you know if you have a jeep with big tires the rules don't apply to you?

I watched a bunch of people going real fast with their tires filled get stuck in the sugar sand at demo last Saturday. I have no pity or help for them anymore. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

I Feel the same way, Last week I drove past 3 Idiots @ the Thumb buried to the frames, spinning fully aired up tires, spitting sand everywhere.

I am a member of LIBBA and MSA and will help those that are aired down and follow the regulations. If you disregard the regulations I disregard you. Of course there are exceptions for girls with long blond hair and long tanned legs.
