i just got a $250.00 gift certificate from probass shops.
im looking at bombers . i do mostly surf casting at rm and thumb. i want to maximize this 250.00
my question is which bombers are the must have in any surf bag., in which color and model should i purchase.

16A & 17A Bombers. (6" Long A & 7" Magnum Long A)

Colors - 01, 04, 80, 85 (Plurble, red head, chicken scratch, green back shimmer)

I am by no means an expert but I like the Rapala X-Rap Jointed Shad. Love the way it feels. I am also a bit partial as I caught my first ever striper with one.

Also check out some of the Youzuri's they have

And they also have floro leader as well - may want to pick some up for leaders

BPS also has some St Croiz rods if your in th e market for a new surf rod

Yes I have way more 16A's than 17A's & use the 6" size more, BUT don't leave home without some of the 7" size.Finger

If you are surfcasting for stripers save some bucks, a good mono (ie: 50 lb clear Ande) is all you need for leaders.
