Hello fellow fisherman, welcome to the 2013 fishing season. This is Capt. Brendan, you may know me from the Island Current Fleet. I am happy to announce that I have started my own 6 passenger charter boat that I will be running out of New Rochelle, NY. She is going to be located behind Hudson Park Bait and Tackle. The boat itself is a custom built 32' Howard Pickerell with an 11' beam which makes for a spacious cockpit allowing for plenty of fishing room and coolers to store your trophy catch. These boats have a reputation for being a no-nonsence commercial boat which can handle any sea conditons resulting in a comfortable ride. Cruising at 16kts will get us to the fishing grounds quickly meaning more time fishing less time traveling. Equipped with top of the line electronics which include radar, sounders, and gps. I plan on sailing day and night trips for all species in season. On our night trips we are going to be rigged with superior lighting which will attract fish and keep you busy at the rail. Those of you who have fished with me before know that I do whatever it takes to put fish on the boat. I am know taking deposits for charters, contact me anytime at (347)843-5310 for rates and available dates. On any charters booked prior to May 15,2013 receive a 10% discount. When boat is not chartered by a group open boat by reservation only. I am looking forward to fishing with you this upcoming season.

Good luck with your new business and your boat ..... been a fan of Pickerell boats , both Ron and Howard, for more than 35 years. They are a Long Island tradition!

I have been fishing with Capt. Brendan for years on the sound and up in RI. As he said He will do what ever it takes to put fish on the boat. I have caught some very large fish while working deck with him and when we go out for fun from beating on porgys when the season first opens to blackfishing in November on the deep wrecks and everything in between he will do what it takes and he knows when and where to find the fish. Brendan I wish you the best and I know I'll pull some big bass off your new boat while night fishing. Cant wait to get going!

Congratulations Brendan!

I can't express how happy it is to hear that you finally got your boat (and a beauty I may add) and starting a business that will be nothing less than top notch. For those of you who don't know Capt Brendan I can personally tell you that not only will you be safe, and catch tons of fish but you will gain fishing knowledge from a man who has been running party boats and fishing the sound for over 20 years. I was fortunate to meet Brendan as we both got our licenses together years ago and we have stayed in touch through out our careers, I only look foward to what's to come now as one of my "classmates" is making his place in the business we both grew up to love. Best of luck dude looking foward to fishing on her with you. Maybe we will run into each other on the water ya never know Smile
