EPA announces plan to reduce the amount of ETHANOL requirements going forward:

EPA Cuts back Ethanol Requirements

Feel sorry for the farmers, but they get subsidies we pay for. Roll

Screw the environmentalists, as ethanol has been nothing but trouble and it is not the fix it was proclaimed to be. down

Great news that we won't have to go to that dreaded 15% ethanol blend outboard poison! up

Ethanol reduction

Lets hope the EPA follows through with the proposal and reduces the amount of ethanol in fuel.

You can purchase fuel upstate(Syracuse area)that is Ethanol free.

Always wondered why is wasn't available in the Long Island area

If it was so good and of sound science why was aviation exempted from using it and why were fire, police and ems agencies allowed to purchase ethanol free gas. Perhaps because it couldn't be trusted in life and death situations.
