Well, preseason is over for the G-Men, now the fun starts with Dallas on the 8th.

Aging veterans, untested newbies and injuries galore; it's going to be interesting. I'm not optimistic about them showing up for the Super Bowl in Giants Stadium but I wouldn't mind being wrong.

Go Big Blue!

If this game was a measure of what is to come for the Giants this season, it's gonna be a tough one.

Definitely have to make some type of acquisition for a veteran running back. Can't see pinning the season on what they have now.

My guess is they'll be watching the Super Bowl being played in their building.....At least they'll have good seats Wink

As will the Jets!!

Manning v Manning III, it should be interesting. It will also be interesting to see
what Jacobs brings to the game.

Go Big Blue.

I give the Giants a slight pass (no pun intended) for this game. They played one of the better AFC teams with a "still great" future HOF'er and they stuck close through most of the game. They had their chances but dropped passes and tripped over blades of grass at inopportune times. It happens. With no semblance of a running game, Eli was forced to slug it out with Peyton and that is not gonna end well for most teams.

Without a solid running game in the NFC, you are toast. Right now they don't have anything close to a solid running game.

One good thing they can take away from today was that Philly, Dallas & Washington all lost and NONE of them looks very scary either at this point in the season!

True, but the 2007 squad had a defense and a running game.

This squad, although they stayed close for a half, had 23 rushing yards and gave up 419 yards in offense from scrimmage. Their defense had no sacks and could not cover recover fumbles, something the 2007 squad did well.

Long season, but not impossible, given the division not having a clear cut winner.

Pathetic, arguably the worst Giants performance I've ever witnessed. RollFinger
