So after the last post we filled the open spot the same day.

Thanks Noreast!!

We just had two people from California cancel off the trip so two spots opened up.

If you want to get on the trip or at least get on the waiting list please email [email protected]

You could also email me @ [email protected]

The trip is going to sneak up on us and be here before you know it! We all get busy with the holidays and then you are getting on a plane to go on a trip of a lifetime.

You can pay the trip off over time as well. Place a deposit, then make payments towards your balance - its that simple. The trip is $4885.00

That includes a fuel surcharge, Mexican fishing permits, water, soda and your meals. Gratuities and beer are extra (Trust me beer can get expensive even @ 1.50 a can!!)

You can fly into Cabo and fly out of Cabo that makes the trip an 11 day trip. Boat will pick you up on Feb. 4 and return you on Feb. 14. 10 days on the boat 1 travel day to get to Cabo.

We are trying to keep this trip an "East Coast" thing! So get on this if you can. You can put your name on the waiting list as well since cancellations happen.

Instead of pictures of fish how about some of the food you will eat on the EXCEL to wet your appetite! Ok 1 fish pic.

Yes the crew will sometimes want fish. Many times they will ask you to trade it in for cans at the landing.

Very different in CA. Trying to sell your catch is a huge no no. It even creates problems with the Mexican authorities since they view selling fish as a commercial enterprise not sport fishing.

You can catch and release your entire catch if you choose. If you dont want to pay to have it processed and shipped home why kill it?

I'll meet you at the dock with a box truck! Toungue

Is there any taste difference in these yf compared to east coast fish? Meat look the same? There colors are much more pronounced in those fish.

Just letting anyone who might be interested there still are two open spots on this trip.

It is going to be a great time as we have over twenty people from the East Coast going.

For those of you are going we are having a seminar at the shop for people on the trip.

We will cover, Fly lining Sardines, Chunk fishing, Wahoo both bait and Jig/Bomb fishing.

BHP will talk about fishing a harness and what is the best way to approach it. TFT will discuss the superior method of fishing the rail.

Trophy Tackle has the NEW Seeker WahooDad Rail Rods in stock as well!!

Please call the shop to get in on this great opportunity to fish on the EXCEL!!!

See you all at the seminar; jackpot and high-roller side-bet pools will be discussed.

The Release Contest rules will be discussed, along with fish processing, benefits of donation, and how to best negotiate the numerous rail anglers who will be in your way when you hook a 400lb+ yellowfin of a lifetime like John Petruescu did on my trip last year. Using a harness.

Bumping this up!

Come on East Coast anglers lets fill this back up!!

Once in a lifetime, bucket list kind of trip here!

The seminar is worth the price of the trip as the battle will rage over
Rail Fishing vs. The Dreaded Harness!

We have 18 anglers from Long Island on the trip! Lets get if filled with some more New Yawkers!

Thanks for your support as always,

BHP/TFT

Joe,

Thanks for that. I look to your trip as the bell weather for how my trips are going to do.

Jeff on the Independence is as good as they are. So if you guys crush it I feel great about our trips.

One day we are going to have to fish together. A couple of short guys from Brooklyn getting it done on the "west side".

We have 3 spots open if you want to jump on! Just saying!
