Using/Charging 12v accessories on the boat?

What's up guys. Great family time with the "new" ride this summer.(21ft cuddy Parker) Looking to really put her to use now. Question....I installed a 12v cigarette lighter plug on the boat. I plugged in the 12v air compressor for the tube, works great. My cell phone charger does not work though??? Is there a special converter plug for that or something?

Also, does anyone have a reccomendation for a portable 12v heater? Not sure how much "power" I need to keep the chill out and possible defrost of the bimini enclosure. Thanks guys!

Double check and make sure you have the polarity correct. Some devices will work with + and - reversed and others will not.
