My buddy witnessed a 61 lb'r caught this morning out of the suds, - I didn't get much other info from him - pictures are up on jackyee.com. He went to Turtles to see the sunrise and wet the line.

Thats a big fish.

Montauk is sick, we had 35 blacks, 50 scup, 7 bass, and a dozen blues today.

I was on a boat - buddy on the beach said they had about two hours with mostly short bass later in the day.

Montauk

I thought the only good fishing in Montauk was freshwater at Lake Montauk? There are fish in the saltwater? Wow....thanks for the SPOT. Hmmmm....sunrise is a good time....perfect!

funny, I think there is a thumbtack on Goggle earth for Montauk. Don't they (the state, the Montauk Chamber of Commerce) call in the SURFCASTING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!!! Maybe we should write to Albany and tell them to stop spot burning. .

Help keep the right to fish and the fish alive!
