I was amazed when I first opened the package from Harvey. The teasers were probably the most beautiful thing I've seen on a hook. You can tell that tying teasers must be an obsession for him as there isn't the slightest flaw. I know you guys have seen them on here and I have too, but I must say that I was even more impressed when I saw them in person. I picked up the sea robin pattern, the white or sand porgy pattern, and greenish blue one, and yellow pattern that resembles a spearing/sand eel.

I fished them on Sunday and the action was very slow for the whole boat for keepers but with the sand porgy pattern I was killing the shorts left and right. I also managed some shorts on the sea robin pattern.

I'm looking forward tofishing with them again and for those of you that thought about buying the teasers and hesitated, DONT. You will will not be disappointed. The work Harvey puts into these things are amazing.

Thanks again Harvey. I have some pics of the teasers but I can't find my cable to connect into the pc. I'm sure there are some on here though.

Angelo

I have been using Harvey's trasers for ten years and still have some of his original patterns when he first started tying. Harvey is the "Rembrandt" of tyers. They are beautiful, durable and functional and catch fluke, sea bass, stripers, weaks and false albies with great success. His squid pattern is a particular favorite that slays big fluke.

I Dunno Al:

I have seen Harveys work and he does use other colors besides the brown, tan and grey that Rembrandt used..LOL!

His teasers are much nicer looking than any Rembrandt I could ever remember!

I use Harveys Teasers too. Caught a Fluke on one and a few Blues but no Bass yet. All though they may have added that extra touch to get then to bite my Storm Shad or Buck tail. They do look great and I have his phone number if anyone wants it PM meWink

I bought a few at the Freeport show over the winter, I haven't tried them yet, but I do agree, they are goergous up! Almost too nice to use, I'm afraid I'll lose them! Thank you for taking such pride in your craft, Harvey! You have a lot of fans here Shades

I find that if fishing them on a dropper loop above the jig or sinker using 3 or more spearing on the hook and no squid or anything else. the fish become very aggressive and whack it.
