Mohawk Cod & Striped Bass July Charter

Brian "Fitz" and crew from Mohawk split their time Striped Bass Fishing
and Cod Fishing on their July charter on Tuna Hunter

Brian Fitz, Mohwak and Crew on Tuna Hunter Fishing Charters

While the main target was striped bass, the large stripers did not cooperate all morning,
prompting the crew to bring out the cod rods and keep everyone busy reeling in cod until the tide changed and the stripers began their feed.

The wait paid off - striper steaks for the grill

Tuna Hunter and crew work hard to produce fish on every charter. We have more fun when you are reeling in fish. That means changing tactics, changing fishing spots, changing tackle and even changing species for awhile to meet the fishing conditions of the day. Ultimately, we want you catching.

Call Captain Gary at 978-407-1351 or email [email protected] for our latest openings, and to learn about all our combination fishing charters. Corporate charters are a natural aboard Tuna Hunter: A clean classic Sport Fisherman with professional captain, crew and service. That next big striper could be yours!

Luke D - Life-Size Striped Bass Fishing

On another evening Striped Bass Fishing Charter aboard Tuna Hunter Luke D. angled stripers that are at least as big as he is.

The only thing bigger than Luke and the Striped Bass is the smile on his face! Luke was a pleasure to have aboard and we look forward to fishing with Luke and his family again this year.

Tuna Hunter provides instruction as needed for all levels of anglers, and all ages of anglers. We guide and coach you on techniques suited to the fishing area and tactics of the day, the goal being for you to catch, fight and bring the fish to the boat on your own. Luke was a fast learner and an excellent angler!

Call Captain Gary at 978-407-1351 or email [email protected] for our latest evening openings, and to learn about all our fishing charters. That next big striper could be yours!

Ingalls BLUEFIN TUNA - June Tuna Action

The Ingalls crew had a great day tuna fishing on Tuna Hunter.

Some may think June is too early for bluefin tuna but these guys can attest otherwise.

Bluefin Tuna on Tuna Hunter Fishing Charters taken by the Ingalls party in June off Gloucester, MA.

This bluefin tuna was taken on the troll - a great hit and a fun fight.

We look forward to future tuna fishing by Kite and jigging - see our Kite Fishing page for more information.

Bluefin Tuna are here! It seems a few more giants are taken each week, and that report changes daily.

Call Captain Gary at 978-407-1351 or email [email protected] to learn more about our latest openings for tuna, sharks, large stripers, cod haddock and more.
