Christmas Blizzard Results 15-30"- Bad week of commuting ---12-27-31-10
Well it lloed more like a Hurrincane as it swirled over the area dumping 30" in NJ and 15 by us but the 70mph were the scary part ..
snow drifts as high as 6' and the LIRR was suspended for 3 days on most lines.. took until thurdays until ther were running correctly again. missed Monday - but slugged it out for the rest of the week with other commuters,,,
most city streets were not plowed fro the entire week..
hit by surprise..
still snow around for new years eve..
Jets clinched a Wild card spot last week 2nd year in a row!... so the final week is just a game for backups - or it should be.,
maybe I should get my reels and lube em up now...still havent doen it..

CHRISTMAS 2010 --- + 12-26/27 BLIZZARD
Just past a nice christams - wife and I hosted christamss eve for the 1st time...+ our 1st REAL tree...not a fake one..
and now a Blizzard to 18" for Sun - Mon...nice
1st blizzard of the season.. as of 11am on 26th it's only a coating...
better go get the shovel..

1st real snow - ICE - Jets Falling off.....
Had the 1st real snow accumulation this AM -- 1" ..but with ice underneath .. caught many by surprise today ..including me ... many 6 car pile ups .. I slid stright @ another car in a turn @ 5mph and stopped just a few feet before T-boning them...then I did a 360 when I tried drive away .. yikes.
Jets lost last 2 games in an embrassing fashion.. Pats n Fins both beat us ..
Pats killed us 45-3
and Fins just eeked by with a victory as we had a chance @ the very end but blew it .. HARD rain was killing sanchez..
