So we hit the Harbor on yours and then we hit Moriches Inlet on mine. My cruiser converts into a fishing boat pretty good and she has hooked me up on fish in the Great South Bay every year.

Unfortunately, I still have a lot of payments.

See you in the spring!

Yes, I am the butler, server, captain and first mate. The bathroom is gold plated and you really are not allowed to fish on it I lust doctored the photos Smile

Anyhow, she is a Maxum 2700SC, 28ft, 10ft beam. She handles the seas well and fishes as good as any other boat with two drawbacks. First is the radar arch and second no live well. Besides that, she is a good balance of family and fishing. Great fish finder and radar so night trips are always on the agenda.

Make sure you bring your fishing tux if you are plan on a fishing trip aboard the luxury liner "Legasea II".

I serve martini's instead of beer when we fish but nobody seems to mind when they have a 30lbr on board Smile

Below is a picture of me putting in Gas...far more expensive than the payments and below that are some nice night time bass we caught out of Moriches Inlet this year on eels and some nice Ocean Fluke. Not bad for an uptown ride Smile

Oh yes...lot's of payments but this is my 5th season with her and she is very reliable up Hope to have her paid off in 2 more years.

Maxum --nice
You forgot cocktail waitress.Smile

So what type of vessel was the Legasea I?

Some great Picts... I have never fished Moriches....not even from shore.
I usually make one/two boat trips a year to the South shore.
I hate the eel grass and slip gut of the GSB ---but the promise of weaks around keeps me coming back in Aug / Sept .
Maybe this year I'll try the spring run as well as long as they show up this year.

-some weaks caught this year aboard the "Fishfinder" out of Captree
a great light spinning tackle head boad for weaks.
-As well as a windy/windy/windy GSB trip for Sept.

Ahhhhh the cocktail waitress. Sorry, she is for my private services Smile. The Legasea I was a Maxum 2400 sport cuddy. A few photos are included as digital cameras were not so cheap back then and I didn't own one. Nice starter boat but lacked what I wanted and the same dealer I bought it from gave me a great trade in price. The interest rates at that time were also super low which made for a softer blow.
