What is RSS?
| |
RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) is a format for sharing and distributing Web content.
RSS allows you to retrieve and organize information in ways that were never before possible.
For example, you can have links to the latest Noreast.com Posted Fishing Reports right on your
google homepage, or in the bookmarks list in your browser. |
How can I use Noreast.com RSS Feeds?
| |
There are a few ways you can use RSS:

Several portal websites offer to display RSS feeds on user-customized homepages.
The most notable examples are Google and
Yahoo.
Web Browsers:
Some web browsers allow you to add RSS headlines right into your bookmarks menu.
The most popular RSS-enabled browser right now is
Firefox, though rumor has it that the
next version of Internet Explorer
will have similar RSS features.
