Place 1/2 of sauerkraut liquid and 1/2 cup water in large frying pan. Place bluefish fillets in pan, cover and simmer for 2 minutes. Place sauerkraut and beans in pan on top of fillets and simmer on medium heat for approximately 10 minutes depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Serve as is or with a fillet on a kaiser roll.
This method helps take out the gamey flavor which many people do not like in bluefish.
