Sorry for the late report.

Saturday the schoolie bass made a showing at gulf Beach Milford ct.

My son called me around 1 pm excited , dad get your butt down to gulf beach, the bass are everywhere.

By the time I got there, the place had a lot of anglers lined along the beach.

My son and I fished the pier to the east of the beach for schoolies from 16 to 29 in. all were released unharmed, lots of 20 to 24 inch fish.

Was using a hogie epoxy jig in green, stopped using when a fish was hooked on all 3 barbs, switched over to single hook. Good to see so many fish , they moved out to deeper water around 3:30pm and were headed east towards New Haven.

My son picked up one last fish around 4:30 nice fat 24" fish.

Nice end to the season.
