Put in early Saturday morning, caught one nice striper in Greenwich Cove right off the bat and then never boated another fish the rest of the morning. Missed a couple more that hit on topwater. Great weather day, dead calm all over the bay, but I saw no bird action or anyone else landing any fish.

I'm assuming the storms put them off a bit, I talked with a couple guys who said they were in the Bay really heavy a week earlier. Figures.

Lundy, I think you are right. I live on the water and I have been watching guys fishing this past weekend on and around various part of Barrington (from Rumstick thru Warren River), I did not see any fisherman pull in a single fish. (At least during the time that I was watching them) The week before, they were plentiful. It was very strange. May be the storm last week really moved the fish out.
