Fished last night from 20:00 to 22:00, caught one small blue fish, no bait to be seen. The weather was mostly cloudy, temps in the upper 60's, gusty SSW winds, the barometer 29.9 inches and steady, with a new moon.

The issue being of course, there was no bait.

Don't be so sure that there's no bait. Lately, on the north shore, they have not made their presence known. However, I'm pretty sure they are around, since the fish are hanging around.

Regarding "no bait", there were four of us plugging, and about four others bait fishing. And there were just a few blues caught at sundown, that was it.

For those guys I talked to out there, we all seem to agree; there was no bait. It just work-out that way, for that night anyway.

Damn Googans!
