Got out early afternoon to catch the bite. It was a beautiful afternoon to fish, and just enough wind and current to make things happen. Everything was just right to catch some of the nice size quality fish, the fall has to offer.

On the first drift we had a double hit, two quality fish on. As we were fighting, we can see two or three other fish chasing the offering. What a great site to see! Second drift was the same. The third was a threepeat. This was insane fishing at it’s best. Non stop hook-ups. For two hours straight we caught and released well over 15 quality fish from 20-25 lbs. You can’t ask for better than this.

The bite shut down once all the chasers saw what was happening. They all drove through the fish and cluelessly ran into eachother. What a shame! That bite would have continued for at least another two hours if all these chasers knew how to approach fish.

Anyway, we had a great afternoon and left with none biting. Thanks to all the googs.

My hats off to Mr. “you know who” AGAIN, for another great trip. Ya gotta love the facial..

Till the Cows Come home!

Excellent Going It's great to see a Captain who knows how to fish. Seems few Guides in Montauk know how to fish a blitz. Watched some run up back current and shut down and enjoy the Blitz. Others couldn't recognize a blitz untill other boats started catching then they were sure to run full bore into the center on the school with engines running and wonder why they layed down .....,.,How about a seminar Gill Teach them
