Fished the outgoing last night from around 11:00pm to 2:00am. Cloudy with stiff wind from the NE. Water a little murky, but no problem with eel grass. Tide did not move well in my spots last night because of the wind, and was unusally high (moon tide I suspect).

Tried two spots near each other for one fish (about 34-35"), and I was surpised I got that one. Not a lot of life, other than the ever present horseshoe crabs. I would like to say that I know the reason, but prolonged low pressure systems, and east winds, just absolutely kill this area. It's like a switch. After the 2nd day, it's done until the weather moderates back to the west. I went tonight hoping it would be different, but the east wind always wins.

Anyway, I didn't get a picture of the fish (left camera in buggy) but did take a couple shots of the newest scenic attraction on Burma Road. I don't recall seeing this a couple days ago. Anybody know what happened to this poor guy. Also on my way out earlier, 3 vehicles stuck up to their frames by the entrance to cut 1a. Didn't look like they were aired down. I offered my assistance, but they declined. -Rich

Rich,it was a surfer who didn't air down.I heard he almost killed him self trying to get his surfboard. It thappened wed. afternoon.
This is the 2nd truck in less than a month. Both for not airing down.
Yes I saw the trucks burried also at the entrance. Its funny,S.C.Parks was trying to pull em out,I slwly pulled up,The kid said don't stop,So me being the wize arse I am,I stopped.I said,I to why??He said"because thats what we did & sank up to our chasies,I said"I'm aired down & floated right on through.
Its getting really bad over there now.A guy came flying off the beach as I was going by,passed right by the air pumps. They don't realize you put to much strain on the tranny when not aired down,Its gonna happen more as summer gets here,If they don't start checking.
They gonna have to build its own fire dept. over there soon.Confused
Don't worry Rich its a combination of alot of things right now,It'll
Pick up again, real soon. There is fish in the area, just feeding during very short windows right now.
