Well the Sea Monkey ventured out today in search of the first keeper fluke of the season and WHAM!!! it finally happened!!...Me Teter and Kramer set out at 7am in the fog and slowly made it to the GSB and had non stop action all morning on the incoming tide with spearing/squid and some sand eel combos...
Total fish had to be 20-30 with a nice blue fish thrown in there as well...Keeper fluke totalled 2 for the table, but were well worth it later that night with some scallops and mussels!!! And a well deserved cold beer for traveling in that fog!
A picture of my first keeper is below along with a couple of nice shots from a weakfish trip we took a few days earlier...GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and have a safe 4th!
