Despite the passing cold front, on St. Patrick's Day the striper bite was on. I fished right off Croton Point in about 15-18 feet of water using sandworms matched with blood worms on a size 7/0 octopus circle hook. The current was strong,so I used 3oz egg sinkers to keep the bait down. Caught 6 stripers ranging from 19inches up to 27inches.
