At the spot in N. Westchester, managed one local 24 incher ( safely released) on the start of the incoming today. Great weather! Saw one 27 incher kept and just a handful of 18-24 inchers caught over the past few days. Also saw a few nice healthy smaller ( 12-14 inch range) fish with very white stomachs and very dark lines come in. A great sign to see the snowbirds start to show up. Finally warming up the next few days- but Eff the oncoming perch :)

Had a 19, a 21, and a 24 Thursday on the start of the outgoing. Saw a 25 and just a few others a little smaller caught. Died after 2 1/5 hours of the outgoing.

i went yesterday after work - beginning of incoming,nice south wind,really warm, not too many people. fishing was non-stop action - all between 18"-21". was pulling one heavy bass but lost it so don't know how big it was. the boat guys seen me having action, they came and anchored right where i was throwingFrown(down how fish-hungry one can be?
its a safety - i could thrown my 4 oz sinker by accident into one of their facesFrown( also - seen dead undersized striper on mono string - somebody left thereFrown( disgusting..
