Been hitting the east end ponds in search of the first panfish of the season but it has been tough going. Cold water being the biggest issue. Got my first crappie of the season yesterday after at least five days of trying. I did get a few surprise pickerel and bass to keep me in the game. One pick was over 18 ", all released and that crappie measured out at 13" yee-ha !After the storm we will re group for hopefully better weather conditions.
