We sailed with Eric Ferrara and his crew. We started in the deep water in Block Island sound. Unfortunately, we only caught the last trickle of the ebb tide with S-SW wind. We caught a few decent fish in 100 feet but could not get a bite going… Then we fished off Westerly in about 45 feet with flood tide and west wind, making wind against tide conditions difficult to sit properly on the piece. The tide was week and took 2 hours to get full flood strong enough to set up right on the spot. We picked away lots of 14” fish and occasional 16-18” fish and one big white chin 11lbs. Then toward the end of the tide, we ran to a wreck in 125 feet again with hard conditions, and managed 6 more keepers for our full boat limit of 32 keepers. Hats off to these guys they fished real hard all day. It is very encouraging that the small trash sea bass have moved out so we will have excellent black fishing for the rest of the season.

We are available for mixed bag combo trips for sea bass, blackfish and cod. We are booking charters for 1-20 people on the 51-foot boat and also 1-4 people on the 26-foot boat. We are running an open boat this Thursday November 30 for $165 per person by reservation only.
