The blind squirrel finally found his acorn. After about 35 rats this fall and years of mostly bluefish I got a keeper (barely). A fellow fisherman measured with his feet saying "that's close". Not good enough. I ran to the car, got my measuring tape and confirmed it was 28.00001 inches! Haha

I've seen about 100 small bass caught the past few weeks and they've all been tiny. Just lucky this guy happened to swim by when my 4 inch white shad went by him.

To steal the NY Rangers fan's banner when they finally won Stanley Cup in '94, "Now I can die in peace!"

Congrats on getting your 1st keeper It took me a long while to get my 1st from the suds so far my PB is 20 lbs from the surf my record is much better from boats keep at it it will pay off
