My dad and I made our first trip for blackfish today. We left the dock around 7:30 loaded with crabs, ready to jig up some togs. We found life immediately in shallow water and had a steady pick all day. We must have had over shorts but I was only able to boat two keepers on back to back drops, one at 16.25 inches and one at 16.75 inches. We also had some big porgies mixed in. I can't wait to get back out there, until then... Tight lines!

Glad to hear the bite exists even with this warm weather.

Great job. So far they've been cooperating in these summer like conditions.
