I was able to fish Smith's Point and the bridge on Saturday and Sunday. I was out by sunrise both days with Saturday being a little rough and Sunday a lot nicer. It was a high tide both days with Saturday being the better fishing day with 25 Sea Bass, 2 Porgies, and a Black Fish. My brother managed a snapper as we only saw a few splashes. I used clams for all my fish. Sunday I landed only 10 sea bass. The Sea Bass are getting bigger, but mostly short. I have to give a shoutout to my brother for bringing me out a life jacket(I forgot mine) in rough conditions. I also want to thank the local boaters who have been great by slowing down when they see me and asking about the fishing. Fun times.

I hit Rocky Point on Wednesday and this morning at sunrise again. Both days the tide was pretty low, Wednesday was a quick trip to my rocks with a plug for no fish. Today I had a little more time and switched to clams for 3 monster porgies and a sea bass. Hopefully the fishing picks up this weekend.

Tight lines.

When I was a kid Smith's point had big seabass... semms now you have to go deep for the real big ones...

As for Rocky Point... They closed the Kayak racks for the year and I am too old to run up and down the Broadway beach stirs with a Kayak. Hope to hit the beach soon with some live eels. Have done well at Broadway with eels n he past.
Maybe I will catch you in the Kayak next year...
