I have been going out a lot lately and I figured it was time for an update. I will start with Smith Point Bridge were I have been landing some very large blues. I was there on Wednesday night and they were still around mostly on a moving tide. The surfcasters are doing well from either side with reports of a couple of bass mixing in with the blues. Rocky Point area has been quiet for me on the kayak with me scoring a very large sea robin last night. My surfcasting buddies, Curtis and Javier have been getting small bass from the beach. I hit Mt. Sinai Harbor yesterday morning with my Kayak buddy, Phil, and he scored a nice small bass. Finally, I hit Port Jeff Harbor this morning with Phil and he had 2 small bass and I had my first bass of the year. The bass have been around 18 to 24 inches.

Nice job. You can try back in the narrows towards conscience bay also. My buddy had great action there a few days ago.
