Went out on the Super Hawk with a buddy on Wednesday. Thought we would get out before the big blow. More on that later. Captain Steve had us off the dock By 2am ready for a 4 hour steam. Well worth it. A little sleep before a steady pick of quality sea bass and porgy. Knot heads and Porgzillas came over the rails on all but a couple of the stops we made. I think I only had to throw back a couple bass and one porgy. All fish beyond the "I wonder if its legal" size. I caught and boated a monster Sea Bass at 6 pounds only to be beat out by one of 2 cod caught. As the day progressed the wind and waves did too. By the end we were slow going, but safe, home. Some big waves over the bow for some cool water effects on the cabin windshield.

A nod to Captain Steve and crew. Top notch always there with gaff or to untangle the rookies and kept the boat on fish.
