fished incoming tide off of the "O" buoy area. Struggled in the first couple hours only putting 3 keepers to 21" in the box with many birds and shorts mixed in. Then we found a load of bait and the wind against tide seemed to hold us right on top of a feeding frenzy going on below. We quickly increased our keeper total to 18 for four guys and released over 100 shorts and what seemed like a million birds. It was double header after double header usually of just birds but rods were bent all day. If it took more than 5 seconds to get a hit your bait was already gone. Pink spros and spearing. Added a few porgies to the box on the way in.
