Fished the beach with Matt Swanny last night. End of flood beginning of the ebb. A lot of white water and the full moon was in and out. Started with a black darter. 3rd cast fish on. Schoolie, possible "sentry fish", safe release. No more fish rest of my stay. Mets game kept beach quite. No fish wanted my offerings. Full circle in the lure bag. Oh well. one short is better than none. Hopefully after the blow the fish will show.

If you don't mind my asking, what is a "sentry fish?"
