WOW !! What a day! My 2 buddies Neil and Billy and I went out on the Hudson today. We had several fish in the 20 lb. class, a 35 lb fish, a 42 lb. PB. River fish for me, and a 47lb. PB. river fish for Billy caught on Jack's FRESH BUNKER!! All others caught on herring. Get it while it's hot, The fish are about to spawn. All fish were released except for the 47 lber. It was entered in a contest and is currently in the lead. Congrats Billy!! The 42 lber was followed all the way to the boat by 4 - 15 to 20 lb males trying to spawn with it!! When Neil netted my fish, 2 of the 15-16 lb males went into the net after it!! Wow!, never had anything like that happen in all the years I fished the Hudson.

Never thought about it but the commodore does look a lot like Ed O'Neill.

The next fish I get will be the first one since the last one.
