Fished yesterday On the Monty Man II out of Orient. The fish we were targeting was Stripe Bass and Captain Jim decided we had the best chance to catch fish if we made the trip to Montauk from Orient. We left the dock about 6:30 am in the fog. We reach Montauk and on the first with live eels we put 2 fish in the boat largest close to 30 lbs. We proceeded to catch fish on every drift the largest fish of the day was on the last drift. As we were heading back to Orient the wind had died down and the fog started to lift. Capt Jim said the tide would start to moving in the Gut and if we were up to it he would like to make a few drifts. This guy likes fishing He said it would be mostly blue fish but aleast we would bend the rod. We were not disapointed caught a few blues and some small stripers. Had a great day Thanks to Captain Jim and Mate Kevin
