Fished Jay's CQ charter yesterday, great trip!! Started off slow with no bite in the dark, but once the sun came up and some heavy chumming by the crew, the cod turned on !!! Lots of shorts, but everyone got keepers, port side doing really well. Fresh clams fished on the medium soak was the ticket!!! We left them biting as everyone had plenty of fillets for the freezer!!! I also won the pool which was a custom Seeker cod rod built by Rodwinder Ralph!! Some great thread art on this stick, done in CQ colors!! Looking forward to using it!! Also congrats to Chris Napster for taking second place pool, which was another Rodwinder custom from the Rodwinder Pinhooker Series!!! Very generous Ralph, thank you!!
