After countless attempts at Magnolia pier and nothing went to the Coney Island pier after work with my buddy and it sure paid off got 21 herring

in about less than 2 hours. It was quite a site on arrival, there was about at least 70 people it looked like an army of fishing poles. I fished from

5;45 pm till 8 pm will try again at a earlier time.

What the hell is going on with Magnolia pier that is the best place for herring had only one productive day there in almost 4 weeks hopefully it will get better but for now I got bait for some BASS

Same for me in other areas of the channel near Magnolia. Only 2 herring caught after several tries. May very wlly be that there is no bait in the bay this year. Nothing for the herring to keep them there.

I maybe missing thembut in my recent trips down to the bay and channels I have not seen one seal, a sure sign that their is nothing to eat for them in these waters.

I was there few days ago and saw a seal right nex to the pier and also
there was grass shrimps in the water.
I know it's just a matter of time before we forget all this and start
catching them in big # . I think they will show up on this full moon
let's hope cause I won't give up
