This is my first post after starting the season very late as I was delayed in the desert. I have tasted skunk from Breezy to Montauk but the all important patience has been missing.I stood on the boat ramp at Gateway with the MPB on my right as the sun set.As the water rushed and swirled in the enveloping darkness,a 30 inch 10 pounder took my Yazuri darter and I smiled at the bouncing tug and whine on a light set drag. Funny...after that I landed another 4 fish with one being close to 32" but after that first one I sent his brethren towards Carnarsie. It's nice to catch some fish so close to home. I did't even need my corkers.OOHRAH!!

Great fish YakDoc1

This fall is turning out to be one of the best for Jamaica Bay in a while. My buddy Skunk and his friend landed a 38" fish in the bay tonight too.

Catch em up.

MPB - first keeper

Congrats on the first keeper. Reports to the west are better than out east lately. Thanks for serving our country. It's guys like you that allow us to do what we do, including being able to speak our mind.

Thanks again!ShadesShadesShadesShadesShadesShadesShadesShades

vet.

Thank you for your service, Hope my children will enjoy the same freedom i have had. The way thigs are going i am not so sure. I think all Vets should get tax breaks, free fish and huntting permits and alot more perks for giving up there own freedom to protect ours. Hope you get a sixty pounder..
