Our regular fishing holes were a little dry last night, so I decided to fish a little further north.

We found plenty of striped bass, but most were in the 18-22 inch range. My buddy took a 34-inch bass right around high tide. We were fishing soft plastic baits around structure.

Plenty of small bait and herring around in the backwaters of OC. I'm still looking for some steady weakfish action, maybe next week.
