The back bays all over South Jersey are heating up. This weather makes it tough not to spend every minute on the water.

Lots of stripers on soft plastics, most are slot fish but quite a few fish over 30 inches have been taken also.

The water temp is hovering around 50, but clarity has been a problem with the nighttime flood tides.

I've heard second hand reports of the first few bluefish and weakfish caught in our area.
