My buddies from the Keuka Lake crew and I were back at it this weekend. Fished Friday and Saturday for a total of 17 bass and a countless gorilla blues. 2 bass were touching 40", two were just 28 but most around 34. We had stretches of insanity there with 2 rods hooked up and another singing, and one down to broken leader. Fished bunker in all forms. The bass seemed to pick up the heads more than the bluefish. Had a few liveliners out but they came back with the signature half moon bite mark out of them so we stuck with chunks and heads. Overall an excellent trip. Most of the bite seemed to happen 1-2 hours after the slack. Went through 4 packs a of Circle hooks and a spool of leader thanks to the yellow eyed monsters.

Another 40"

Great report up I'm glad to see the action still holding in that area. It's always good to have Bluefish stirring up the pot...even if you go through tackle. J Bay could use a good dose of those YED's.
