Another beautiful day in key west light east wind. We fished on the salty goat again out of key west. Went north into the gulf and anchored in 40 ft. Instant bites lots of lane snappers but had to cull through lots of sm ones. Tried to catch a lone cobia on a live sm jack but wouldn’t eat anything. A few guys in stern got peeled so I put a big bait on the bottom and caught a 100 lb nurse shark on a heavy spin rod which was fun. Also, had some throwback muttons and enough lanes for dinner. Nice day on the water and it’s not snowing.

If anyone is fishing in or around key west and has room for me on a trip please contact me at 516-885-1932 or Thanks

PS – We are now booking charters in Montauk for 1-20 people starting in April. We will be bottom fishing for spring cod, blackfish, etc.
